With our POLLY Italian Sour and our POLLY Italian Aperitif, we bring that feeling back to life. This drink perfectly captures the essence of summer: an elegant balance of bittersweet flavors, sparkling freshness, and a velvety smooth texture.
The Italian Sour is a sophisticated variation of the classic sour, proving that even non-alcoholic drinks can be a true taste experience. It's the perfect homage to the golden hour and the ideal companion for bid farewell to the last rays of sunshine in style.
Preparing this drink is a small ritual that's absolutely worth it. The combination of double shaking—the so-called "dry shake"—creates the irresistibly creamy head that characterizes a sour.
3 cl fresh lemon juice
3 cl fresh egg whites (optional, but recommended for the perfect texture)
1.5 cl sugar syrup
ice cubes
Orange zest for garnish
Fill a shaker with ice cubes .
Add the POLLY Italian Aperitif , lemon juice , egg white (if using) and sugar syrup .
Close the shaker and shake vigorously until it is cold on the outside (approx. 10-15 seconds).
Strain the contents of the shaker into a separate container and remove the ice.
Pour the liquid back into the empty shaker and shake vigorously again, but without ice. This creates the perfect foamy head (called a "dry shake").
Fill a tumbler with fresh ice cubes.
Strain the drink into the glass and garnish with fresh orange zest .

6 cl POLLY Italian Aperitif
3 cl frischer Zitronensaft
3 cl frisches Eiweiß (optional)
1,5 cl Zuckersirup
Gib POLLY Italian Aperitif, Zitronensaft, Eiweiß und Zuckersirup in einen mit Eis gefüllten Shaker (oder ein anderes verschließbares Gefäß).
Schüttle kräftig, bis der Shaker von außen kalt ist (ca. 10-15 Sekunden).
Seihe den Inhalt ab, um das Eis zu entfernen, und gib die Flüssigkeit zurück in den Shaker.
Schüttle erneut kräftig, aber ohne Eis (Dry Shake), um eine perfekte Schaumkrone zu erzeugen.
Fülle einen Tumbler (oder ein anderes flacheres Glas) mit frischen Eiswürfeln.
Seihe den Drink in das Glas ab und garniere ihn mit einer frischen Orangenzeste.
